- Picasso, Pablo Ruiz
- (10/31/1881 Malaga-4/8/ 1973) (Spain / France); aka [birth name] Ruiz y Picasso, PabloPainter, graphic artist, sculptor, ceramicist, stage set designer, and poet. One of the most important figures of Modernism, developer of Cubism, he worked in a progression of styles throughout his long career. Trained by his artist father, briefly studied at the Academy of the Arts in Madrid, at 15 he attended art school in Barcelona. He was a prolific creator of artworks in many media. During several periods in his life he produced a considerable number of erotic images.
